Ragged Roe's Suffer Heavy Loss 

Strabane 2-18 Owen Roes 1-4

Owen Roes second fifteen continue to struggle following the promotion of much of its squad to senior duties. They came out on the wrong side of a mauling in Strabane today. However it’s important to remember that this was a Strabane side featuring many players with senior football experience.

Owen Roe’s game plan was scratched after 15 seconds as Strabane bagged a goal. John Harper was the beneficiary of a good Ryan Logue run as Owen Roes replied to Strabane’s three further points.

Indeed Strabane struck 5 more first half points to close out the game. However Aaron Doherty was in the right spot at the right time as a misjudged ball into the Strabane square popped lose, and he shot home.

The second half mirrored the opening half as Strabane shot over several points. John Harper got an early free, to put the breaks on for a while. However Gerard Kelly’s free and Ryan Logue’s late drive was only consolation as Strabane ran out winners.
