ON THE ROAD WITH THE ROES
The Club are hosting a fund raising 25 mile or 50 mile cycle, 5K walk and 5K run on Sunday 2nd June starting at the Clubrooms. Registration for the cycle starts at 9am with a start time of 10am, and for the runners registration starts at 10.30am with a start time of 11.30am.
We are looking for some volunteers for the day of the cycle, walk & run to help out as marshals & to do registration on the morning, we also will need a hand with refreshments too. All help welcomed!

TYRONE
Tyrone’s Ulster Snr ambitions fell by the wayside in Ballybofey on Sunday past. However the minor side gave us something to cheer as they defeated their hosts, and await Derry or Down in the last four.
LOTTO
LADIES FOOTBALL
Our senior ladies’ lost out to Badoney on Friday past of the ladies league. This Sunday they enter the Championship as they play Urney. The game will be in Aughabrack at 6pm and all support welcome.
The ladies U12s are at home to Urney on 4th June. Training as normal this Saturday at 6pm.
SENIOR FOOTBALL
Training for all senior and reserve players continues every Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm.
The senior and reserve teams played host to Newtownstewart on Tuesday past (See website for results), and welcome Brockagh to Glenmornan this Saturday where throw in will be at 3pm for the reserves, and 4.30pm for the seniors.
We thank Brockagh for their flexibility with this fixture.
CONGRATULATIONS
Everyone at Owen Roes extends their best wishes to ladies senior coach Mark O’Neill and his partner Jillian on the birth of their baby girl over the weekend.
SOCIAL AND CULTURE
There will be jiving lessons in the club every Wednesday evening at 8pm. Only £2 a lesson.
Thanks to everyone who helped out at the U16 disco on Friday night past.
YOUTH FOOTBALL
Training for U6s, U8s, and U10s continues every Friday from 7pm until 8pm. All children should come wearing boots, and appropriate clothing for the conditions.
Our U8s went to Castlederg for their blitz on Saturday and put on a good showing. Thanks to Castlederg for their hospitality. The next blitz will be U10s on Saturday 8th June.
Training for the boy’s U12s continues every Monday evening at 7pm. The U12s will play their first game at home to Fintona on Tuesday June 4th.
Training for boys minors is every Tuesday at 7.30pm and Friday at 7pm.
HEALTH AND WELLBRING
Our Zumba (7.30pm) classes contine every Monday night in the Hall. All newcomers welcome.
LOTTO
All members are encouraged to promote the club lotto as it’s a vital source of funding for the club. Envelopes can be left in the clubrooms or in Caldwell’s ‘The Glen Shop’.
