The Club held a ‘deal or no deal’ spectacular last Saturday night in the Clubrooms. A good crowd saw Duck McCay selected to play for the £250 jackpot.
As the tension mounted Duck turned down £60, and was left with an ‘all Duck or no dinner situation’ with 50p or £125! As a hushed silence fell over the Clubrooms, to the delight and dismay of the audience the banker emerged triumphant, as 50p ended up in the box!
Thanks to Paddy ‘Noel’ Edmonds for his as always professional job, those who bought and sold the tickets, to Duck for taking the pressure, and of course thanks to our special guest…. the banker!
