U14's storm through Feile First Round
On Sat 19th the U14 lads attended the Feile hosted in Aughabrack.
First up was Clann Na Gael and the Roes dominated, therefore emerging winners with a scoreline of 3-07 to 1-02.
Next on the firing line was Urney. With a great team performance, the young green and reds held Urney scoreless while knocking over a tally of 1-06 themselves.
With two wins behind them it was Glenelly in the final, in Plumbridge.
Would it be a rerun of the previous league encounter, Glenelly thought different.
The two matches had taken its toll on the Roes but their determination and ambition kept them alive through the 30mins.
The football was fast and furious and it was only in the dying minutes the game was clinched by an exhausted Roes side.
Final scoreline of 2-06 to 3-02.
They are now through to the grade 2 semi final in Greencastle on Sat 25th against either Eskra, Eglish or Stewartstown!
GOOD LUCK!!!
