Drumragh Edged Out by Goal Blitz

Drumragh 2-09 Owen Roes 5-04

Owen Roes started the match with a goal flurry from Charles O'Doherty and Cathal McShane getting past the goalkeeper. Drumragh kept their hopes alive though and didn't let the quick start get the better of them and scored a few points. But with Ronan Mc Nulty going for goal again and Cathal scoring points from frees it was the Roes who had the half time lead.
HalfTime - 0-05 v 3-03

After the half Drumragh were the team who looked more alive, they scored 3 points in quick succession to reduce the gap! However with Sean Dooher pointing, it settled the Roes and with Conor Doherty and Charles O'Doherty sending two more by the helpless keeper, it looked like points earned. A goal in the dying minutes for Drumragh reduced the deficit but it was to be Owen Roes night once more.
