Beragh Defeat but O'Neill's Advance

Despite a heavy defeat in Beragh tonight Owen Roes advance to the last eight of the league section in this grade 2 clash.

Dermot McMenamin's first half goal had kept the scoreline close, but in the second half defensive mistakes were punished and Beragh pulled clear.

However Aghyaran's six point defeat in Urney means that the Green and Reds live to fight another day.
