Owen Roe's are in Grade 3B
Wed 30th March - Tattyreagh 2-11 Owen Roe's 3-5
The Minor footballers of Owen Roes lost out in their opening fixture for the 2005 season in some-what controversial circumstances, as the referee adjudged that a second half effort had failed to cross the goal line. Mickey Kelly (penalty), Paul Devine and Danny Barr were among the goals for the visitors who also had Kevin Gibbons lined for picking up two yellow cards.
Wed 6th April - Owen Roe's 0-5 Drumquin 0-5
The points were shared in this Minor Grade 3 league match. John Harper (0-2), Mark Kelly, Mickey Caldwell, and Mickey Kelly got the scores for the home side, in a decidedly low scoring contest.
Wed 13th April - Trillick 1-6 v Owen Roe's 5-7
The Minors had a good win over Trillick last Wednesday night on a scoreline of 5-7 to 1-6, with the goals coming from Dermot Mc Menamin, Mickey Kelly and Ryan Logue.
Wed 20th April - Owen Roe's 0-3 Clann na Gael 3-7
The minor footballers of Clan Na Gael showed why the are top of section 3B of the Tyrone Minor league. A top class display by the local lads gave the home side few chances over the hour
Wed 27th April - Aghyaran 2-7 Owen Roe's 1-10
Owen Roes picked up their second draw of the season with this 1-10 to 2-7 result against Aghyaran. Clarke Stephenson's strike means that the Roes still have an outside chance of reaching the next phase.
Wed 4th May Championship First Round - Owen Roe's 1-4 Tattyreagh 3-12
A Dermot McMenamin goal consolation goal proved not to be enough as an impressive Tattyreagh side knocked Owen Roes out of the 2005 Championship at the first hurdle.
Wed 11th May - Owen Roe's 0-11 Castlederg 2-7
Owen Roes' minors were cruelly denied the points in this Grade 3 minor clash. Leading by a point in injury time, a late Castlederg goal saw the visitors home. The Derg had started on top of this game, but the efforts of Mickey Kelly, Paddy Corry and co, brought the home side back into it. Captain Kelly ended up with 5 of his side's total.
Wed 18th May - Dregish 2-5 Owen Roe's 1-12
The final game of the Boy's Minor Football season ended in victory, but disappointment for the Leckpatrick side. Other results did not go their way, and the league quarter-final was missed out by a single point. The Roes led at half time by 0-7 to 0-2, but bottom of the table Dregish staged a second half comeback but came up one short. John Harper (0-4), Mickey Kelly (0-3), Mark Kelly (0-2), Conor McCay (0-1), Paddy Corey (0-1) and Dermot McMenamin (0-1).
