Ticket Allocation Guidelines
Due to unreasonable demands and expectations of a few Club members it was agreed at the 2002 A.G.M. to draw up a list of guidelines to refer to when allocating tickets especially in times when demand is greater than supply.
1. Preference in ticket allocation will be given to those who have paid their current membership fee and who are active members of the Club. The number of tickets per member will depend on the number of tickets available and the extent of the demand. In general members should not expect an allocation of more than 2 tickets.
2. Subject to availability Youth members will entitled to 1 ticket each.
3. Where tickets are less demand for them they will be allocated in accordance with the criteria laid down by the Committee - this would see preference given to active Club officials, workers, adult players and youth players. A sub-committee consisting of the Chairperson, the Secretary and the Treasurer (or their assistant) will be responsible for the allocation in accordance with the agreed guidelines.
4. Payment of membership fees cannot be taken as a guarantee of acquiring tickets.
5. Requests for tickets should be made to the Club Secretary or other designated Official before the County distribution takes place. Late requests will only be taken if the number of tickets exceeds demand.
6. Tickets for games not involving Tyrone must be ordered with the Club Secretary at least 10 days beforehand, otherwise it would be impossible to obtain them.
7. Members should specify at the time of ordering the particular seating requirements they would prefer but the allocation will be at the discretion of the Club Committee.
8. Family tickets, and tickets for the disabled and O.A.P.'s are now available for most matches and if you wish to avail of these please say so when ordering.
9. Tickets will be distributed on a designated night and all tickets ordered should be collected and paid for on that night. Tickets not collected will be reallocated by the Committee in charge except where special arrangements have been made. At this stage the committee in charge may take into account the requests for additional tickets by Club members and non-members who can show a level of commitment to the ideals of the G.A.A.
10. Tickets are allocated for the benefit of Club members and their immediate family and should not be sought for non-members. At no time should tickets be sold for profit and Club members are reminded that ticket allocations are for the use of the Club and its members. Infringements of these regulations will be dealt with by the Club Committee.
